Gen 1st Leaf - my version

There was supposed to be a female player in the Gen 1 pokemon games, but there was too many data to fill inside the cartridge, so Leaf never appeared. But there were a couple sketches of her: [link] [link]

Since I haven't locate another artwork of her entire body, I decide to go with my instincts and draw her in a blend style Sugimori's artworks and the character Blue (who was based on Leaf and a Lass design) from the Pokemon Special manga.

The reason why I made her starter a Bulbasaur... because it associated with her color. XD Like Charmander for Red and Squirtle for Blue. Yeah, I'm lazy... XP
