Then this is a new pic of her (with a different hairstyle, to see which one she looked better with).

Cruz goes by different aliases before meeting VHP, like the name Laura (cookies for those who can get this vampire trivia!), and it was the last name she used before joining VHP.

The guy behind her is a human from her memory when she's still a wandering vampire, and they met during the Great Depression. They both fell for each other (because they treated each other kindly, despite one is a vampire and the other is a poor human), until the guy asks Cruz to turn him to a vampire for valid reasons, while Cruz fears for his humanity.

She gave in and tried to turn him. In the end, though, his human self has become a past dream and has turned into a monster like Cruz.
